Prescription Process
Repeat prescriptions may be made by post (enclosing an SAE), in person at reception, by telephone, e-mail request or the mygp app. If you wish to order your prescriptions using the mygp app or any other patient services app online, please speak to the reception staff and they will register you for this service.
If phoning for a prescription, please do so between 10.00am and 4.00pm.
Repeat prescriptions will be available for collection two working days later (excluding Bank Holidays and weekends). Please do not allow yourself to run out of medication. Make sure you order your repeat prescription in plenty of time, atleast a week in advance especially if you are going on holiday or the surgery is closed for Bank Holidays.

Changes in ordering your Prescriptions
From October 2016 community pharmacists can no longer order medication on your behalf.
This to ensure safe and responsible issuing of your medication and to prevent unnecessary medicine waste.
There are several ways in which you can order your regular medications.
- Online via a secure internet apps, ie mygp app, patient access
- By dropping your prescription of at reception
- Calling between 10.00am to 4.00pm
- Emailing the surgery
Please note that your nominated pharmacy can continue to collect and deliver your prescription once issued by the doctor.

Gluten Free Foods
From 1st January 2017 Gluten free foods will no longer be available on prescription. Affected patients will be receiving information through the post in the coming weeks.
